This is the story of one of our most valuable (and favorite) photo restoration clients.
Meet Edward.
He was born in South London in 1981.
For the last 15 years, he has been teaching history at a local university.
Being a history buff, he not only visited many historical sites all over the world but went to great lengths to find out more about his ancestors.
So, it’s no surprise that he has a large collection of photographs of his grand and great-grandfathers.
Since his great-grandfather served in the British Army back in 1915, there are many photos in his collection from that time.
Time has taken its toll on those precious and memorable pictures.
His father and grandfather (he is still alive and well) are worried about the photos getting permanently tarnished and beyond recognition.
Now Edward, being a busy professor, was finding it difficult to find the time to restore these photos to their rightful charm.
One day, he was talking to his cousin Mr. Thomson (by the way he is one of our regular photo editing and background removal service clients) about it.
Mr. Thomson was kind enough to recommend us to Edward.
Since the photos were over a century old, Edward was doubtful about how much repair we could do.
And just like his cousin, he too was blown away by how well we restored those precious pictures.
Both his father and grandfather talked to us over a Zoom call to extend their gratitude.
We were happy that we could rekindle those memories for Edward and his family.
